Michael is from Sanibel Island, Florida, and has been an avid sailor and boater since he was young. He began working professionally on boats in 2005 aboard Schooners in Key West and has since worked in a variety of capacities on the water from running private charters, and fishing and sailing instruction to marine science research vessel and diving field operations.

He is also versed in maintaining boats and brings a unique background to yacht sales. He is also a marine scientist and 100-ton captain by trade and formerly managed a remote shark research facility in the Bahamas. His 17 years of professional maritime experience has given him insight into what vessels fit the job and the client’s needs. He continues to engage in all things maritime and boats and is proud to be a member of the David K. and Associates Team.
